Good morning, today is 1st April. Maybe it is a good time to say that for example SQL Server was acquired by its main competitor on the market? No, that would be just an April’s fool!
As you might have heard there will be only one tool to manage databases – Azure Data Studio will be sooner or later included in the SSMS. In this tool you will be able to manage all flavours of databases – including Postgre, MySQL and others! Plus Notebook! I love it!
What should I say – this is a must have document (even more than one!) you should have anytime you play with ML&AI!
NoSQL platform has been trending for quite time now and I am not surprised CosmosDB is the leader!

This is a github repo you can use to play with Anomaly Detecion in Machine Learning and Stream Analytics! The DeviceSimulator is used to simulate anomalies being sent from a device to IoT Hub. The schema uses temperature and a sensor ID. These events can then be consumed by an Azure Stream Analytics job configured to read from this IoT Hub.
Goodbye SQL Server 2008/R2. Do you still use/maintain it? Yes! We all do! These versions will be out of support on 9th July so you’d better read this article!

We hosted Salva Oks remotely last Thursday! He was talking about SQL Server 2019 and the Big Data Clusters (but not only). It is just mind blowing! I cannot wait to try it on my new laptop (arriving tomorrow). Here you have just two pics I did during the session!
